Fagaceae Peninsula
Located northeast of Ragunna, Fagaceae Peninsula features a vast manor standing tall on its southern highlands, while the small islands to the north are shrouded by storms all year round, making it difficult for ordinary people to see their true appearance.
The peninsula is rich in oak and Sunflare trees. People craft barrels from the oak wood and use Sunflare Everlasting as ingredients to brew the renowned "Nectarwine," celebrated as the "Heart of Harvest, Gocce di Divino."
Oakheart Highcourt
A massive courtyard of unknown origin stands here, with a colossal oak tree at its center. The tree’s thick roots stretch down along the courtyard walls, while its lush leaves shimmer with golden light under the sun.
The Central Pavilion
At the heart of the courtyard lies a mysterious pavilion, which houses an enormous simulation chessboard.
"The Lifer"
An echo, for reasons unknown, is confined here. It endlessly mutters repetitive phrases and invites every visitor to play a game of chess with it.
Simulation Chessboard
Sitting in the chair opposite "The Lifer" activates the chessboard, where enormous black and white chess pieces appear. These chess pieces are actually made up of various shapes of echoes. The design of these pieces may be connected to whoever built this courtyard.
Outer Maze
The central chessboard in the pavilion controls the switches for other rooms outside the pavilion. These rooms encircle the chessboard, forming a labyrinth.
Shores of last Breath
A group of small islands perpetually shrouded by storms, rendering entry nearly impossible. The Order of the Deep asserts that these storms are trials of faith, claiming that only the most devout believers can cross the Shores of last Breath and bear witness to the divine oracle engraved within the Northern Sacred Forest.
Sighing Storm
The sea breeze from Penitent's End, carrying strong air currents , gathered above this coastline.
Over time, this has resulted in the formation of a terrifying and persistent weather phenomenon along the coast.
Oak Monolith Forest
On the journey across the Shores of Last Breathe, stone monoliths are scattered along the path, while monsters perch in the skies above. This perilous area, ravaged by storms, resembles the arduous trials described in the doctrines of penance.
At the northernmost point of the Shores of Last Breathe lies the Sanctuary, said in legends to be the closest altar to the Sentinel. Over countless years, the inscriptions on the stone tablets have long been mottled and unclear. The treacherous conditions of this site have deterred most believers from venturing here to pay homage.
In the past, former priest of the Order of the Deep relocated some of the sanctuary's monoliths to various points across the Shores of Last Breathe, carving and erecting smaller sanctuaries to make them more accessible for worship.
Coast of Anticipation
The Fagaceae Peninsula boasts an extensive coastline, and the sea near this coastline is referred to by the people of Ragunna as the Coast of Anticipation.
