Penitent's End
Those who are exiled by the Order of the Deep, if their "Pilgrim Sail" does not sink at sea, will mostly be carried by dark currents to Penitent's End.
The Order of the Deep claims that the exiled can receive the Sentinel's' forgiveness by praying at the Figurehead's Shrine on Penitent's End.
Wailing Ascent
The long bridge leading to Penitent's End was once the only road from Ragunna to the island, but the bridge has long since collapsed, rendering it impassable.
Shipwreck Shore
The wreckage of ships that encountered storms or ran aground will drift to Shipwreck Shore with the ocean currents, and even intact Pilgrim Sail may run aground there.
After the “Black Tide” outbreak in Rinascita, numerous echoes were left on Penitent's End. Coupled with the spreading "Remnant Clouds" from the Sea of Clouds, countless TDs are drawn to this place, where sorrowful whispers echo day and night.
The Strand
The Strand is where many ships have wrecked and are inhabited by various dangerous TDs.
Whenever the sea fog spreads, the "contaminated remnant energy" within the fog can destabilize the frequency of resonators.
Occasionally, various illusions appear within the fog, some of which are "mixed" with remnants of frequencies left by the departed.
Figurehead's Shrine
The Figurehead's Shrine is located at the highest point of Penitent's End. This vast and desolate place is filled with the aura of death, with massive remains scattered everywhere.
It is said that after repenting, those who have been exiled can ascend to the Figurehead's Shrine at the island's peak to receive the gods' forgiveness and enter the "Blessed Land."
However, those condemned by the Order of the Deep who come here to atone are ultimately met with the merciless judgment of the Dragon of Dirge.
Pilgrim Path
The Pilgrim Path is the only route leading to the highest point of Penitent's End.
The distant, winding staircase ascends continuously, with dim candlelight burning on both sides. Numerous TDs lurk along this path, indiscriminately attacking anyone who attempts to climb the stairs in search of repentance.
Dragon of Dirge
Residing at the peak of Penitent's End, the Dragon of Dirge is a draconic Tacet Discord that indiscriminately devours all frequencies. Having absorbed a massive amount of frequencies related to decay and death, it has ultimately transformed into a fearsome skeletal form.
The once-sacred ritual site has thus become a grave of sorrow and misery. The path to salvation does not lie here—any who enter must face the fire of judgment and accept its decree.
Fool's Elysium
The fools—known as the pilgrims by the Order of the Deep—who survived the attack of the Dragon of Dirge, established their home within the caves of the island's interior.
Using this as their stronghold, the fools formed a theater troupe, creating their own paradise alongside the abandoned Echoes.
Coastal Fjord
The fjord leading to the troupe's base is shrouded in sea fog, providing a natural barrier that allows the troupe to remain hidden within.
Fool's Troupe's Base
The base of the Fool's Troupe is a place filled with free-spirited songs and improvisation performances.
The members of the Fool's Troupe rescue those who have survived shipwrecks, bringing them back to this haven where they offer assistance and allow them the freedom to choose whether to stay or leave.
They share food, discuss topics of interest, help each other in daily life, and work together towards a common ideal.
Lario
Before encountering the Fool's Troupe, Lario was a lonely echo travelling across the sea for many years. After joining the troupe, Lario became an important member. Together, they toured the archipelago, ensuring that the forbidden plays and songs continued to be performed and passed down between the city-states and islands of Rinascita.
