Rover leaves behind the ruins created by Carlotta to separate them.
Abby: “Whew, that was close... I really thought the bullet was coming for us. So... was it all part of your plan?”
Rover: “We were improvising.”
Abby: “Then you two sure have great chemistry... Anyway, those bad guys are still after us, so let's get out of here. Didn't Carlotta say something about an island up north? Let's go check it out!”
Rover and Abby make their way across the Wailing Ascent bridge leading to Penitent’s End when suddenly, a massive dragon attacks, spewing fire.
Abby: “Wait, heads up! Something huge’s coming at us! Watch its flames! Quick, get to that clearing!
Tacet Discords block their path, making the journey increasingly dangerous.
The dragon launches a direct attack at Rover, but Abby jumps in to block the blow. The impact sends them both crashing off the bridge into a fog-covered area, where more Tacet Discords ambush them. Fortunately, Roccia arrives just in time to help.
Pero: “Pero, pero!”
Roccia: “Don’t be scared. Però is just saying hi. She sheems to fancy you.”
Pero: “Pero, pero!”
Roccia: “I'm not exactly one for formal introductions, Pero.”
Pero: “Pero, pero!”
Roccia: “I know this isn't the first time seeing them...”
Rover: “Sorry, do I know you? Your voice sounds familiar.”
Roccia: “Uh... Hello, I'm Roccia. We've met before on Brant's ship. I was... in this box. This is Pero, the actual owner of the box. Pero takes good care of me and lets me hang out in it all the time.”
Roccia: “I've never seen Pero warm up to someone so quickly. It must be something in your frequency that it finds interesting. Anyway, what brings you to this beach? It's not exactly a place for a stroll.”
Rover explain what happened to Roccia...
