From Post-Lament Anthropocene: Comprehensive Mirror for Historians - Rinascita :

The Fool's Troupe performs on tour across all of Rinascita, but their hidden refuge lies deep in a vast underground cavern on Penitent's End island. Their creed is freedom, their treasure is laughter, and their gift to every city they visit is a new tale.

From every corner of the Rinascita Archipelago, playwrights and performers gather, flourishing their art like "dancing in chains," defying the weight of conformity with their performance.

Now, the Carnevale in Ragunna beckons, offering a stage for their longing to shine as storytellers of their version of truth.

From in-game description:

The Fools who survived the dragon's assault-whom the Order refers to as the "pilgrims"-drifted on the warm currents, eventually finding refuge in a vast cavern on Penitent's End.

There, the Fools formed a troupe, determined to one day expose the truth hidden by the Order and return to their home. To achieve this, the troupe wrote numerous plays and "danced in chains," performing tirelessly across the archipelago.

For years, they have awaited the return of the Carnevale, hoping to expose the Order's secrets through their performance, claim the Laurel, and earn the chance to commune with the Sentinel.

The Fools' Troupe

A traveling troupe performing throughout Rinascita, the Fools' Troupe describes themselves as a group of "fools in pursuit of freedom," with their headquarters set in a massive cavern on Penitent's End.

The troupe cherishes freedom, spreading laughter and bringing joy and stories to every city they visit. They write scripts, recruit partners, and rehearse performances, like dancers "chained but still dancing," as they tour the archipelago.

The Troupe's Ambition

The Carnivale is Ragunna's grandest celebration, originally held to honour Sentinel Imperator for aiding the people of Rinascita. The most outstanding performer at the Carnivale is awarded the "Laurel Crown", granting them the opportunity to directly receive the Sentinel's revelation.

This upcoming Carnivale marks the first time in ten years that the festival will be held. The Fools' Troupe aspires to win the Laurel Crown and use that stage to reveal the truths they have long passed down among themselves.
