“I'm Phoebe, an acolyte of the Order. Praise the Sentinel. May They guide you to compassion and enlightenment.”

A Given of Happiness

Phoebe's staff had been a gift from Sister Isabella at the orphanage. She had received it on the day she was named an Acolyte. "This staff," Sister Isabella said, gesturing to its bird-shaped head, "is crafted in honor of the holy birds that once flew around the Sentinel Imperator. Their wings are said to have been blessed by the grace of the Sentinel.

They bring hope and peace where they land." Phoebe knew the world was no longer as turbulent as it once was, but as the Codex decreed: "Little drops fill the ocean." To Phoebe, the phrase was a reminder that even the smallest actions, whether good or bad, could ripple outward This belief drove her to always strive for peace and happiness in the lives of those around her.

Phoebe dedicated herself to peacefully resolving conflicts in Ragunna, no matter their size, and seemed to have a knack for appearing exactly where and when she was needed.

Please Calm Down!

Sometimes, even Phoebe must resort to certain special means to resolve conflicts. "If you put that thing in my pizza again, I swear to the holy Sentinel, I'm gonna kick your sorry butt!" "Someone is raising a ruckus outside Margherita's. Again. And a Resonator no less. Quick, go get Acolyte Phoebe!" "...I'm on it!" Phoebe gripped her staff tight, trying to muster up courage. "You can do this," she reminded herself, recalling the teachings of the Codex. "Come on, Phoebe! You are already getting quite good at holding back the strength..." "Please... calm down!" She swiftly brought down her staff, and the golden bird on its tip took flight, its wings shimmering with ethereal light, casting a gentle glow over the stunned crowd. The two parties, who had been in a heated argument only a second ago, smiled amicably and shook hands. As always, another conflict was resolved without anyone getting hurt.

Beloved Friends

In Phoebe's eyes, Echoes are divine envoys, but also beloved friends. She sees everything in a positive light and treats every Echo with love and care. This is how she's become the well-respected, trustworthy Acolyte that she is today.

Common Echoes, typically indistinguishable to most, are all unique individuals to Phoebe. She can easily distinguish them, earning her the affectionate title "a walking encyclopedia of Ragunnesi Echoes." She loves the Echoes, and the Echoes love her back, behaving like eager puppies around her.

Sometimes, while diligently performing her duties, she'll find herself trailed by a long line of Echoes, each patiently awaiting her attention. Of course, this playful procession only occurs when no senior members of the Order are observing.

A Mini Carnevale

The Carnevale was over, and night had fallen on Ragunna. Phoebe wandered alone through the deserted square. Colorful streamers and balloons still swayed in the breeze, oblivious to the party's end. She paused, picking up a golden streamer and tucking it into her book.

Suddenly, a Wingray materialized from the night sky, landing silently at her feet. Its fluffy tail curled around her legs playfully. "Come! The city sleeps. No one will see us." A voice whispered in her mind. Before she knew it, the Wingray lifted her into the air, and both of them bathed in the soft moonlight. They soared above the sleeping city, arriving soon at Egla Town.

There, in the center of the square, a makeshift stage had been erected. Two patches of light, emanating from Livia and Tilly, pierced the darkness. They began to play music, a lively tune that filled the air. Beppe and Brenno, already dancing, beckoned her to join.

Phoebe laughed, her worries forgotten. She danced with abandon, the moonlight casting long, dancing shadows. The Wingray returned, this time carrying a laurel wreath in its beak. Gently, it placed the wreath on her head. This was her Carnevale, a magical celebration just for her.
