A student is seen tinkering and working on a Mechascout in the Engineering Department.
Mechascout: “Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot…”
Qiangong: “There we go, that should fix it…”
He turns to Rover.
Qiangong: “Perfect timing… Hey, you! Got a sec? Want to help me test something?”
Rover: “Sure, what is it?”

Qiangong: “Aside from its main job of fending off Void Storms, the Mechascout is also equipped with a module that measures how powerful someone’s attacks are. Pft, the Academy used to strictly ban that kind of “walking by and giving a Mechascout a good whack” thing… Then they realized the stress was so bad, even some teachers were doing it… It’s practically a public service at this point. So instead of cracking down, they decided to leave it as an outlet… It’ll block your hit with that huge shield and give you a fair score. Oh, and don’t forget to wear your Terminal, or they’ll mark you as a hostile.”
Rover: “Can we really do that? What if I break it?”
Qiangong: “These mechs are basically walking “Antivoid Canopies,” don’t underestimate their defense! And so far, no student has ever broken a Mechascout with one punch.”
Qiangong turns to face the robot, activating it.
Qiangong: “Reveal yourself! Everlasting Shield of Ideals! Oh, don’t mind me that’s just the unlock code I set for it… Come on, give it everything you’ve got! If you break it, I’ll take responsibility!”
No matter the intensity of the blow, the Mechascout responds the same:

Option 1: Throw a light punch

Option 2: Strike it with everything you’ve got!

Mechascout: “Clang, clang… What an incredibly powerful stri-stri-stri-stri-strike… Your skills are truly rema-remarkable-ble-ble-ble…”
(The mech in front of you shakes its head, finally coming to its senses after the impact. The symbols on its display slowly focus… Your final score is…)
Mechascout: “! @#¥%&()&#¥%&*……∞!”
Qiangong: “Th-this can’t be right, can it? Is it acting up again? What exactly went wrong…”
